Since the doors first opened in 1998 as a full-fledged military inspired fitness program, START Fitness® has helped thousands of people reach their fitness goals. Now morphed into an athletic boot camp program, START Fitness® classes utilize safe and effective exercises uniquely arranged to target specific muscle groups. Our certified coaches will lead you through a series of heart-pounding cardio drills, body resistance exercises, weight training exercises, TRX and tubing drills, all to upbeat music.

5 Different Classes Per Week
START Fitness offers five classes per week at our Bush Street location. Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00-7:00AM and 7:00AM-8:00AM. Our program is balanced with indoor and outdoor classes:
Indoor classes: START Fitness indoor training days focus on fat loss, developing your muscular strength and stamina and overall aerobic conditioning. Exercises include body weight exercises such as push-ups, flutter kicks, vertical leg crunches, and partner-assisted exercises, all designed to create muscle definition.
Outdoor classes: START Fitness running days are focused on developing aerobic efficiency. Designed for individuals of all fitness levels, running days cater to first-time runners as well as marathoners. You will find yourself getting into shape, running faster and further, in a short period of time. Our runs are comprised of a mix of steady-paced endurance runs, interval training, hills, stairs and tempo runs.
