START Fitness was launched in 1998 by Army National Guard Staff Sergeant and Master Fitness Trainer, Ken Weichert, and has never had a break in service. 5-days a week program
START Fitness is balanced with indoor and outdoor classes:
Indoor classes: START Fitness indoor training days focus on developing your muscular strength and stamina and overall aerobic conditioning. Exercises include body weight exercises such as push-ups, flutter kicks, vertical leg crunches, and partner-assisted exercises, all designed to create muscle definition.
Outdoor classes: START Fitness running days are focused on developing aerobic efficiency. Designed for individuals of all fitness levels, running days cater to first-time runners as well as marathoners. You will find yourself getting into shape, running faster and further, in a short period of time. Our runs are comprised of a mix of steady-paced endurance runs, interval training, hills, stairs and tempo runs all with boot camp flair!
